Imajica - Where Did The Name Come From?

I get asked all the time about the name I chose. Where does it come from, what does it mean, why do I have to pick something so awkward? OK that one was from my dad so doesn’t really count.

Firstly, where does it come from? Well, I cannot tell I lie, I stole it! It is the title of my favourite book – Imajica by Clive Barker. If you have not read it, I highly recommend it, it is simply magical and difficult to describe – epic on a scale of Lord of the Rings.

Why did I choose it to represent my business, what does it mean? For me I find the extrusion and product development process magical, and a bit of a dark art.

It is not logical, and it is not black and white, in fact sometimes it confounds all reason.

But to do what we do requires some imagination and a bit of magic, and from these words you can see why Imajica kind of fits what I do!

So that is where it come from, a huge thank you to Mr Barker, and that’s is why I chose it to represent me.
